Mechanical Seams vs. Snap Lock
Bradford Standing Seam manufactures and installs only mechanically locked seamed panels. This style of roof, also called structural standing seam, offers superior wind uplift resistance and is Dade County approved for hurricane zones.
Snap Lock seams are just as they sound. They consist of two panels of metal that use the flexability of the metal to snap together at the joint without further crimping. This is not Dade County approved and is not suitable for high wind areas.
We offer a complete Standing Seam selection in 16" and 20" wide pans.
